[Case Study] Seirin needles used for holding Ryugu particles samples.

We would like to introduce a case where our products were used for the sample containment brought back by Hayabusa2 (the asteroid exploration spacecraft). We manufactured and provided a needle with a pointed tip made from non-magnetic and relatively lightweight element, titanium 64. In addition to acupuncture needles for medical devices, we also perform needle processing based on the materials and shapes requested by our customers. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issue: A shape resembling a cut-off tip is required for sample handling. ■ Proposal - We manufactured and provided a needle with a pointed tip made from titanium 64, which is composed of non-magnetic and relatively lightweight elements. - The tip cutting process was carried out by the customer's business partner. *For more detailed information about the case, please refer to the related links.
